Dairy Milk Analysis

FTIR Dairy Analyzer - LactoScope 300

The LactoScope 300 FT-IR Dairy Analyzer provides fast, reliable dairy analysis in a compact system designed for everyday use.

It can analyse raw and processed milk, cream and whey, delivering results for key components including fat, protein, lactose, solids and solids non-fat. Results are available in less than 45 seconds, helping laboratories and dairy operations process samples efficiently.

The system can also screen raw milk for abnormal content and identify adulterants including urea, ammonium sulphate, maltodextrin, sucrose and added water. With guided workflows, built-in connectivity and reporting tools, the LactoScope 300 is designed to make routine analysis straightforward while supporting consistent results across dairy operations.

Fast sample turnaround
Complete an analysis and receive results in under 45 seconds, with the capacity to process at least 80 samples per hour.

Consistent analytical performance
The patented Dynascan interferometer is designed to maintain calibration stability even when the instrument is affected by tilts or shifts, supporting reliable and accurate results.

Straightforward operation
The ResultsPlus interface guides users through the analysis process with step-by-step workflows, helping reduce the amount of training required. Higher-level users can also validate calibrations and configure automatic data export to LIMS.

Connected reporting and remote access
NetPlus Report provides cloud-based access to results from different locations. NetPlus Remote, available separately, can be used to remotely configure instruments, manage settings and calibrations, and compare instrument performance with reference results.

The LactoScope 300 combines FT-IR analysis with integrated software and connectivity tools in a compact dairy analysis system.

The standard system includes the ResultsPlus user interface for guided analysis and administration, along with NetPlus Report for cloud-based access to analytical results.

For operations managing multiple instruments or sites, NetPlus Remote is available separately. This allows calibrations and settings to be distributed remotely, while also supporting performance monitoring and calibration updates without requiring personnel to be physically present at each instrument location.

The LactoScope 300 is designed for dairy testing applications in environments such as chilling stations and dairy processing plants.

It can be used to analyse:

  • Raw milk
  • Processed milk
  • Cream
  • Whey

The system measures key dairy components including fat, protein, lactose, solids and solids non-fat. It can also screen raw milk for abnormal content and selected adulterants, including urea, ammonium sulphate, maltodextrin, sucrose and water.
