Fast, accurate measurements
Measure water activity to ±0.003 aw in five minutes or less, with simultaneous moisture content measurement. One-minute water activity readings are also available with the appropriate reading mode.

Chilled-mirror dew point technology
The AQUALAB 5TE uses a chilled-mirror dew point sensor as a primary method for measuring water activity, providing direct measurement rather than relying on secondary correlations.

Measures water activity, moisture and temperature
The instrument measures:

• Water activity from 0.0300 to 1.0000 aw
• Moisture content from 0.00 to 100.00% MC
• Temperature from 15.00 to 50.00 °C

Swappable sensor block
The water activity sensor block can be removed and replaced for cleaning, calibration or repair, helping reduce downtime and simplify maintenance.

Simple touchscreen operation
The 7-inch touchscreen provides a streamlined interface for water activity measurements. It supports touch gestures and operation while wearing two nitrile gloves, and the surface is designed for easy cleaning.

Built for different environments
The ruggedised hardware and internal temperature control allow the AQUALAB 5TE to provide laboratory-quality water activity measurements in different areas of a production operation.

AQUALAB Cloud connectivity
Optional AQUALAB Cloud integration synchronises site settings, user profiles, audit information and measurement data between connected AQUALAB 5TE instruments.

Measurements can continue even when the network connection is unreliable, with data synchronised when connectivity is restored.

21 CFR Part 11 support
The AQUALAB 5TE supports electronic records, validation, audit trails, data integrity and record retention requirements associated with 21 CFR Part 11.

Easy to use and train
On-screen help provides guidance for operation and troubleshooting, while built-in multilingual support is available in English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, German and Italian.

Flexible connectivity
The instrument provides USB, Ethernet and wireless connectivity, with support for keyboards, mice, wireless network adapters, USB drives and barcode scanners.
