Moisture Analyser - Perten AM5200
Determine moisture and Test Weight/Hectoliter Weight in all types of grains and oilseeds in only 10 seconds. The Aquamatic is based on recent development work performed by the USDA
The Aquamatic 5200-A is a second-generation grain moisture meter using 149 MHz and UGMA technology to provide accurate analysis of grains and oilseeds.
It measures moisture, Test Weight/Hectoliter Weight and temperature in as little as 10 seconds. The instrument can be used with a broad range of products, including grains, oilseeds, pulses, beans, lentils and seeds.
Designed for regular use in grain handling environments, the AM 5200-A combines a robust construction with simple touchscreen operation and automated analysis. It is also approved for official trade use in a number of countries and is certified as UGMA compatible by the USDA.
Fast 10-second analysis
Measure moisture, Test Weight/Hectoliter Weight and temperature in only 10 seconds, helping operators make quick decisions during grain handling and testing.
149 MHz and UGMA technology
The second-generation 149 MHz technology and UGMA compatibility provide improved accuracy compared with older radio-frequency-based instruments.
Simple touchscreen operation
Select the product, pour the sample into the hopper and start the analysis from the touchscreen. Auto-Analysis mode can also begin the test automatically each time a sample is added.
Built for long-term use
The AM 5200-A uses heavy metal sheeting and Delrin construction to provide a solid and durable instrument, helping reduce the risk of damage during relocation and shipping.
Precision measurement cell
A single-piece cast measurement cell provides precise control of cell dimensions for accurate volume and density measurements. The RF electronics are integrated directly into the centre of the cell, removing cabling and reducing long-term impedance matching issues associated with connector degradation.
Responsive temperature measurement
A large copper temperature-sensing surface makes contact with hundreds of kernels, providing rapid and precise measurement across a wide temperature range.
Simple mechanical design
A single high-quality motor helps simplify the instrument design, supporting longer service life and reducing downtime.
Self-cleaning cell door
The lower cell door uses a firm snap-action closure to help dislodge material build-up. This helps maintain consistent cell volume and reduces the risk of dust affecting weight and volume measurements.
Controlled sample flow
The three-brush sample strike-off system directs grain towards the collection drawer while helping minimise debris build-up inside the instrument.
Flexible connectivity
Configurable data output is available through USB or RS-232 connections. Plug-and-play functionality can mimic GAC system output, allowing the instrument to integrate with existing scale software, LIMS and other systems. An optional printer is also available.
